Memory Summary: Audio only, Snake's continuation of the previous memory
Gained Through: Cooking time!
Date: Day 30/31
What was learned/Summary: A continuation of Memory 3. The woman in the memory changes the conversation, telling Light she's worried about him and wonders if he's still hurting over how a previous relationship ended, to which Light replies, "Mark was a complete bastard and if I were thinking with my head instead of my gonads, I would have figured that out." The woman suggests that maybe he should date some girls she knows. Light says that it might be better for him to concentrate on his thesis because he won't have time for dating anyone. The thesis will take up too much of his time. The woman then responds that he should at least try to follow up on some of the acquaintances he's made because she's worried about him being too alone.
Light then remarks that he's very lucky to have a sister as loving as Clover. She shouldn't worry so much about him and that she should go and concentrate on her own studies in her first college year. Brother and sister share a hug and Light feels such deep deep down joy for at least if he has Clover, he is not alone in the world.
Effects: Snake realizes he has a sister named Clover that he recalls he'd do anything for, so his earlier efforts at stabbing his hand make so much sense to him. It grounds him to know he has someone in the world who worries about him but at the same time it IS troubling to know that Clover can't find him. The conversation also reveals that apparently he may be bisexual which also in turn makes him realize that he's attracted to Heiji. Not that he plans on revealing that fact to ANYONE. For now.
